  This manhole is part of a system that is partly abandoned, but full camera investigation is planned on being performed later this summer. The proximity and location of the manhole is such that equipment cannot be located without further eroding an already compromised bank. This is not an area that should be used for recreation. We will be putting up closed signage and caution tape to warn users. ~Parks

  Things like this are a major safety hazard for small children. Regardless of whether the area should be used for recreation, we should assume a child could find this and simply lock it out weld it shut before something tragic happens.
