This old manhole cover is covered in moss and has been eroded underneath. It is off the path near Blanchard Beach. I was retrieving my dog that had slipped his leash and it flipped open and my leg fell in. After being stuck for several minutes and being concerned my leg had broken, I was able to remove my leg and replace the manhole cover so it wasn’t just open. Needs to be removed fully or marked.
