This happened to us too. We assumed that because Veteran's Day was a federal holiday and fell on a Monday, pick up was delayed by a day...but according to the town website pick up was on the normal schedule :-(

I think most of my street thought it would be delayed too. One neighbor that I can see nearby put theirs out on the normal day and I checked their bins and it got picked up... but most of us didn't put them out on the normal day.

Our street put it out the normal day - Wednesday. Other streets were picked up - our street was not.

I called the city, and DPW told me to call waste management, who told me that it wasn't a pickup week for Allston St / Allston Terrace (it most definitely is!)

I just called Waste Management they put a ticket in for it to be picked up by end of day tomorrow or today. Fingers Crossed.

There was no delay in trash or recycling last week.

Mary - all 8 houses had their trash out Tuesday night for Wednesday pickup - the trash truck completely skipped our side of the street.

I reached out to waste management again after calling Friday and having my ticket closed to reiterate that they did, in fact, miss recycling pick up on Allston street. I'm not sure why dpw has been so unhelpful with this- anyone driving down the street can see that the recycling wasn't picked up.
