Grass along Calumet Parkway has not been cut. It is my understanding the HOA at Riva Ridge cut median by their Community. This area is past the traffic circle going north.

Thank you for contacting the City of Newnan about your concerns for maintenance of Calumet Parkway.
The HOA communities of Calumet are collectively responsible for the maintenance of Calumet Parkway and adjacent areas, from SR 34 Bypass to the end of Calumet Parkway.
This issue was addressed by Mayor Brady at the City Council meeting, September 26, 2016. The Mayor explained that although Right-of-Way associated with Calumet Parkway had been dedicated to the City, a master association is responsible for maintaining landscaping, including the median.
This is the same arrangement in place for other planned communities in Newnan, including Summergrove, Stillwood Farms, Madison Park, Avery Park, and Stonebridge, to name a few.
You can expect the City to cut the grass along Calumet Parkway, with tractors and rotary mowers, a few times a season, at the same frequency and to the same level of attention given to other areas of public responsibility.
We are working our way through the City now.
