There is a lot of glass shards strewn the length of the passageway between Macy's and the Hotel Vermont and adjacent parking garage. It is not concentrated, but pretty much scattered along the length of it.

Oil patch on Church Street. Around 111 Church, opposite Danforth. Also oil drippings leading up to patch from College Street. Probably from a delivery vehicle.

I presume that someone is already aware of the missing light on one of the lampposts at Waterfront Park, since it is entirely missing. However, I also wanted note the couple of lampposts in the background, which have a decided lean to them, to the point of being uncomfortable looking. Unless, of course, we're trying to be the Pisa of North America, in which case, carry on.

While walking from my home to work this morning, i observed the the DPW recycling truck coming down the street picking up the recycling. The worker would pick up the bin or bag very quickly, many times with one hand, and often recycling would fall into the street. I saw him pick up one item that hit the ground, but most of the rest was left to lie there, turning into trash that was going to blow around. This wasn't just one house, but several in a row. I took pictures and then picked up the recycling as best I could and put it in the containers on the west side of Murray street, which hadn't been picked up yet. It seems to me that DPW needs to be a little more careful about their pickups. I don't know if it is a question of time constraints, but if that is the case, maybe more crews are needed. Also, I think recycling containers with lids would be an enormous help in preventing all the loose material from getting strewn around.

Vehicle spans sidewalk from driveway to street. No way around, must walk in street to get by. With the snowfall, that's about 90 feet one has to go.

Whoever plowed the lot (I think it is for the building that actually fronts on Cherry Street) simply plowed the lot and left a 3 foot high wall of snow across the sidewalk on both sides of the driveway. Virtually impassable.
