We had a traffic engineer review the design of the signal timing at this location and his recommendation is to implement phased timing. One side will have a green light with a turn phase, then the opposite side will have the green light with a turn phase. Short of rebuilding the intersection, this is the safest option ans easiest to implement. We plan to implement this once some other maintenance/ repair work has been completed for the signals in this corridor.
