Apparently, based on the t-shirts I observed, this is a kickball league organized by a company called ClubWAKA (World Adult Kickball Association). Looking at their website (https://www.kickball.com/season/vtsunshinespring2017), there appears to be 18 teams listed for their spring session, with up to 26 players per team allowed. They all play on Monday evenings at 6:30PM. At any rate, they should be contacted, as this league is not behaving responsibly with regard to parking at Oakledge Park.

I think there is a different group/league there tonight, not as many vehicles, but still inappropriately parked. Nothing parked on Flynn Avenue, meanwhile.

Flynn Avenue has been posted as no parking via action taken by DPW and supported by Parks, Recreation and Waterfront this spring. It has greatly improved the safety of Flynn Ave. BPRW has also removed a softball field from the Austin Drive area of Oakledge as part of our ongoing master planning initiatives which has helped with illegal parking in the neighborhood south of the park. We have met with several groups since this report about illegal parking in the park, and it has improved. We continue to work with our partners to identify overflow parking areas, but the Flynn Ave parking removal has had some effects that we're working through. We appreciate your patience.

We'll continue to monitor the parking in Oakledge. We're closing this issue.
