I am updating this as on older post so residents know we have not forgotten the issue and let you know there is a reason the issue has not been closed.

Graffiti that occurs on Private Property is not an issue that the City can directly control. Ultimately the property owner is responsible. Our practice is to notify property owners of the report, encourage them to make a police report and offer assistance if we have materials or staff that can assist them.

Private property graffiti issues that do not get resolved quickly are generally either:
1) Difficult to reach surfaces we cannot help with,
2) Large projects that require coordination with the property owner
3) Delicate surfaces that the property owner needs to have resurfaced
or 4) Properties where the owner has refused our assistance.

Each private property graffiti issue will ultimately be addressed according to the property owner's sense of urgency about the issue.

I spoke with the owner on Friday 10/11/19. They are fixing the structure of the building and have construction workers there now. The owners said that when they fix the actual structure of the building, it will remove some of the bricks that have been tagged.

Owners are aware but not in a rush to get it cleaned as its expensive, it keeps happening and they are under construction .
