Description
Dangerous intersection currently allows left-turning vehicles to cross 2 lanes of traffic(!) on a busy road near Chik-fil-A (See red arrow in attached photo).
Extending or joining the concrete medians to eliminate the gap between them could easily remedy this hazardous situation.
Thank you!

Thanks for reporting your concern. There is nothing unusual about a left turn crossing two lanes of traffic. You are advised to do so when you feel there is a sufficient gap in the oncoming traffic. If you do not feel comfortable making the left turn at this location, so may choose do do so somewhere down the road at a traffic signal.
Closing the median takes away access to many businesses and the cost to cure may be significant.

While I appreciate your quick response, I respectfully disagree with the points you made about closing the median:
-It would not be costly, only taking a few yards of concrete. (A lower budget option would be some plastic Traffic Channelizers...
-It would not take away access to businesses. As you yourself said, drivers can make a left turn "down the road at a traffic signal".
Please look at the typical traffic snarl in the above photo again...
How do you suggest we solve this Safety problem?
Thank you,
