    Toland Circle, with the Toland Veterans Memorial, is in dire need of maintenance of the grass. I personally think we should remove the grass and place stone around the perimeter and perennial flowers around. The plows pile snow here which is no good for the grass. I will apply to CPA for restoration of the memorial but the circle itself is part of the street (not technically a park) and thus unallowable to get CPA funding for park restoration. I got a quote from Crowley’s Clippers to restore the circle with artificial turf and stepping stones and flowers and can forward that along. All no maintenance. Thanks!

    This beautiful Japanese Maple is unfortunately erupting the sidewalk. I spoke to Aggie Tuden In The past about it and she wasn't sure how to address it. But for now, the sidewalk crack has continued to widen and the hump gets taller. Can Dpw do something about the crack? Can it be skimmed, tree root trimmed, and patched? Thanks!
