Why is this Burlington city Street in far worse condition than most dirt roads in Vermont It is a dirt road that's been neglected for years It is impassible in a vehicle unless extreme caution is used It serves City Market, one of Burlington's most important and iconic food retailers It should be in pristine conditio, not full of craters and huge bodies of water after a rain If Burlington does not own it then the owner
should close it or be forced to correct it's dangerous condition. What is going on here? n?

There are numerous car damaging pot holes along the east side of Pine Street between Queen city Park Road and Home Avenue. Traffic is forced very close to the curb and into these potholes because of the parking on the west side of the street.
This major thoroughfare needs to have it surface repaired please.
It’s only going to get a lot worse during the rest of winter. Pine St was totally repaved between Home Avenue and Flynn Avenue.
Please do the right thing and fix these monstrous potholes. Thank you

There are numerous car damaging potholes along north side of Queen City Park Rd west of the one lane bridge. There are huge puddles that will become ice in the middle of the road where 2 layers of paving are missing.
Please fix these ASAP, before 2020 would be great. Thank you.

947 Shelburne Road South Burlington, Vermont - South Burlington
Truck Parking in Kmart parking lot - There are frequently more than 10 eighteen wheeler trucks parked overnight in this parking lot. I have recently counted 14 and half of them were idling. This parking lot which drains directly into Potash Brook and Lake Champlain is contributing additional pollution to the lake and air from oil and fuel leaks from idling and shut down truck engines.
Does the city have any control over the use of this property as a truck parking lot? Can Hannaford Brothers who own it be compelled to monitor and control its use?
Can the trucks be directed elsewhere?
  • 247-251 Queen City Park Road Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
The bridge over VT RR tracks on Queen City Park Road is continuously full of potholes. This important one-lane bridge provides good traffic control. It should not however, damage the vehicles that use it frequently. It is repaired periodically but the many potholes always return. There seems to be a stable concrete sub-surface that might support a complete scraping and repaving full width and length.
Can DPW create a more permanent repair solution?
