Two traffic signals are not aimed at intersection. Can't tell if they are actually working or not. Perhaps this is on purpose.

Thank you for contacting the City of Somerville with your concern over these traffic signals. I have created work order 274646 asking our traffic engineer to investigate.. If you have any further questions or comments please either email the office at 311updates@somervillema.gov or call us directly at 617-666-3311.

Hi Stuart,
This is the information I got back from the Traffic Engineer "The two traffic signals in questions were utilized for a previous traffic pattern when Rogers Ave was a two way street.
Mr. Goldman is correct in that the traffic signal heads were rotated so that they are not facing any approaching vehicles from any direction. These traffic signals are remaining in place in case the traffic pattern is again changed and the traffic signals could be utilized when a Green Line Extension station is located in Ball Square."
Thank you for bringing it to our attention,
Jesse Moos
